Terms of service
The agreement between your store and Aiders. Short on purpose, and written to be read.
Last updated 13 September 2026
Who you are contracting with
Aiders is a customer support agent for Shopify stores, run by MKB Trading, a Dutch sole proprietorship registered under KvK 88897818, VAT NL004667125B52, at Jaargetijdenweg 29 3 A, 7532 SX Enschede, Netherlands. In these terms, we and us mean that company. You means the business that installs Aiders.
You reach a person at support@aiders.app.
What the service does
Aiders connects to your Shopify store and to the support email domain you verify with DNS. It reads the order behind a customer email and answers it. Where you allow it, it also settles the request: a refund, store credit, a cancellation, a reshipment, an edit to the order.
What it may settle on its own is a setting, per request type, and it is yours. The defaults are conservative and money only moves inside the limits you set.
Your account
- You have to be authorised to connect the store and the inbox you connect.
- The details you give us have to be accurate and stay accurate, so billing and alerts reach you.
- You are responsible for the people you give access to, and for keeping your credentials to yourself.
- Tell us at support@aiders.app if you think an account has been taken over.
Acceptable use
Do not use Aiders to break the law, to mislead your customers, or to process content you have no right to process.
Do not try to break, overload, reverse engineer or resell the service. If you want to sell it on, the partner programme exists for exactly that.
Billing and cancellation
- Shopify handles merchant subscription billing in USD. Its billing terms apply to the payment itself.
- The monthly allowance counts processed incoming customer emails. Outgoing replies do not consume another Aiders email unit; spam and rejected messages do not count. The free allowance is a one-time grant.
- Cancel at any time. The plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for and then stops. We do not refund a part used month unless the law requires it.
- Prices can change. We tell you at least 30 days ahead by email, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- An unpaid invoice can suspend the service, after we have warned you.
The agent acts on your behalf
Aiders writes and sends replies in your name, and where you switch it on, moves money and edits orders in your Shopify store. It does that as your agent, on your instruction, inside the limits you configure.
Those limits are yours to change at any time. A refund ladder and a cash ceiling are enforced in the code, so the expensive remedy comes last and anything above your ceiling waits for a person. What the agent does inside the limits you set is your responsibility towards your customers, because it is your store and your relationship with them.
Every reply and every step is readable back in the dashboard. If something looks wrong, switch the permission off. Uninstalling revokes Shopify access. Aiders also handles the uninstall notification to stop store processing; webhook delivery is not instantaneous.
Availability and support
We do not promise a number. We run the service with care, we watch it, and we tell you when something is broken. Maintenance can interrupt it and the providers we depend on can fail. Support goes through support@aiders.app and a person answers.
Liability
Aiders is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for what a customer of yours does.
Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for intent, for gross negligence, or for anything Dutch law does not allow us to limit.
Term and termination
The agreement runs month to month until one of us ends it. You cancel from your Shopify admin or from the dashboard, with nobody to talk to first.
We can suspend or end it if you do not pay, if you use the service in a way this page forbids, or if we stop offering it. Except in a case of abuse we tell you first and leave you time to export what is yours.
When it ends, access ends and data is removed as described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We update this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we email you at least 30 days ahead. Carrying on with the service after that means you accept it.
Governing law
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
